Ladies, I think I've found the one!
It's pretty, it's comfy, it's pretty AND it's comfy. I've found bra heaven in Boux Avenue.
I don't think I'd normally blog about lingerie, but with Valentines Day just around the corner and the fact I've found a bra that ticks every box from fit to design, it's something I couldn't not share.
Classed as a DD+ I've always struggled to find the perfect bra. To be quite honest I didn't even think such a mythical creature existed! After I was wrestling around with an old, uncomfortable La Senza piece I decided enough was enough and went browsing online for bras for the... um... curvier lady. There are definitely a lot of options out there, (Curvy Kate, Bravissimo, Fig Leaves, etc), but something about Boux Avenue appealed to me and with a quick google of reviews it seemed like the brand to try.
Boux Avenue start at an A cup and go up to H, so there seems to be something for everybody. After having a good route around, I opted for the Sienna Balconette Bra, which was in the SALE at a ridiculously cheap £10. I also added the Chloe Balconette Bra for good measure along with some underwear & by the time I'd finished I had free delivery for spending over £50 (oops).
When the parcel arrived (gift wrapped in a cute little box, including pink wrapping paper & rose petals!) and I'd tried the bras on, it was like love at first cup. Comfortable, cute, well priced, good support... I was almost annoyed with myself I hadn't treated myself to a decent bolder holder in such a long time!
My favourite of the two has got to be the Sienna bra, so much so I'm almost tempted to buy another one while they're in the sale. It is just so unbelievably comfortable and pretty to boot... *sigh* The Chloe bra is definitely a winner too, but I'm a sucker for comfy things, and that is definitely the first of the two.
This isn't even a sponsored post, haha! I just thought a good bra should be shared, because I wish I'd found this sooner. And, if there's a better excuse to treat yourself to something for Valentines day, I've never seen it.
Have you tried Boux Avenue? What's your favourite brand?
xo

I absolutely love Boux Avenue. In fact, every single bit of underwear I actually wear is from there *oops*
ReplyDeleteBut in all justification most of them were bought when they were in the sale. They have some of the best in-store customer service I've seen and everything is just so pretty and comfortable.
I haven't even tried La Senza since they reopened because I think all of their new stuff looks very cheap and tacky for the prices xx
They're so lovely aren't they? La Senza was definitely a desperate purchase but you just forget a bra is supposed to be comfortable (or at least, I did!) so I'm really glad I came across these :) xx
DeleteLooks like they might ship to Germany - exciting! Thanks for sharing, I'm going to have a little shopping trip...
ReplyDeleteOh good! :) they're all lovely, hope you find something you like xx
Deletei love boux avenue! Their bras are gorgeous and comfy. And the packaging with the pretty box, tissue paper and petals are gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm also a DD and i find Marie Meili (from figleaves) really comfy. Like really comfy and they're really pretty. Got some gorgeous floral ones in the sale for £5-£7 each!!

Oo, will definitely have a look at them next time then :) thank you xx
DeleteLooks lovely! I've never tried Boux Avenue but this is definitely tempting me too! I'm also DD+ and find it so hard to find pretty bras, I usually go with Freya as they always do gorgeous designs but at £28+ per bra & £14 for the knickers, it's quite a pricey affair... x
ReplyDeleteYou should! Compared to most I've seen they're definitely reasonably priced (and the same price no matter what size which is a nice change!) :) xx
DeleteI find it hard looking for nice 'boulder holder's too as I'm classed as DD+. I was never really a fan of La Senza but I haven't tried Boux Avenue yet!

It is difficult, so I'm so pleased I've found a company I can trust for pretty & comfy bras! Xx

Thank you Andrea :) xx
DeleteI have about 4 bras from Boux Avenue and I still want more :D They also do really cute pants that I can't resist buying even though I don't need any more!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I can imagine they're addictive! I really want to re-vamp my whole drawers with their stuff! :) xx
DeleteI love the actual shops, the decor is so nice and I love the way they display everything but I haven't actually bought anything from there. Your bra is gorgeous and the packaging is so pretty. :) x

Ah, I didn't really know they had a shop! Would be dangerous if there was one near me! :) xx
DeleteI've never heard of Boux Avenue before! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThey are! :) xx

I have never heard of Boux Avenue Lingerie before! That might be because I am from the states, it look divine though.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have very many lingerie options in the US. Most girls I know find their lingerie at Victoria Secret, which is a quality brand but sometimes a girl wants a little more variety! I am yet to discover a high end boutique that sells lingerie that is not tarty looking.
Love your blog by the way!
