Snow Night

I've never seen the snow come down so fast.

I know there definitely are people who are ready to see it go, but all my child-like instinct took over last night as I shoved on a hoody over my pyjamas, put on my black boots (good job nobody could see me!) and tried to capture just how pretty the city centre looked.

It's rare that the snow settles here as it's quite 'warm' compared to small streets & villages so I was very excited to see a blanket of snow across the whole city. I couldn't stay outside long, but I followed it with a nice mug of hot chocolate and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Is it snowy where you are?
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

  1. We have had so much snow recently, but I've woken up today and it's pretty much gone! I can't help but be happy about it!

  6. It does look very pretty! As a Canadian used to snow I generally hate it but it snowed last night when I was walking home and it looked amazing.

  8. It hardly ever snows like that in the UK. It's exciting when it does ESP when you don't have to go anywhere. It makes everywhere look so clean and bright. Sony evenings are the best.

  10. Wow gorgeous photo, we had a lots of snow particularly on Friday, so much so that some roads were closed and my mum actually had to stay overnight at work. It's lovely to look at, but it really does case lots of trouble. :-)
