I Heart Seville!

This title will come as NO surprise to many, I'm sure.

I can never explain enough, or in words that are up to par, how much I love this place.

Known as the capital of the South of Spain, Seville never disappoints. It is always beautiful, always breathtaking and, as a general rule, always hot. There's so much gorgeous architecture to feast your eyes on & around every corner you will see something incredible.

...If you haven't been, then please do yourself a favour and get yourself on the next flight!

Towards the end of our stay in Malaga we drove two hours west to Seville. It was quiet as it was a Sunday and midday temperature [read: sweltering]. We had a wander around the main shopping streets, passing by the Cathedral, Plaza de Toros, Torre del Oro AND the Plaza de Espana - I was being serious when I said everywhere you turn there is something amazing.

We stopped at one of my all time favourite restaurants; Robles Laredo to have some tapas and cake. They do amazing individual desserts there - again, if you pass it, get one! I'd been craving gazpacho - and I know you can make this at home, but its never really quite as good.

With our stomachs full we plodded around, paid a visit to one of the most gorgeous looking five star hotels in the city centre & then made our way back to the car.

It really was quite a flying visit, but one I'm pleased we made.

My love for this city will always remain and it is somewhere I couldn't recommend enough if I tried.

  1. Hi, I'm your new follower! You've got such a lovely blog, I'm going to read your posts from now on! :)

  2. Great blog and awesome photographs covering all the great aspects of the place. Thanks for sharing.

  3. My sister came across your blog and showed me straight away. I spent my gap year in Seville and I'm just about to go to granada for my year abroad at uni!
I'm like you and absolutely fell in love with Seville

  4. Hi! If you loved Sevilla, you will adore Córdoba and Granada. I live in a little city, Palma del Río (Córdoba) and my favourite province is Granada, it's the best city from Andalucía.

By the way, my name is María, I'm 25 and I'm studying English language and literature (my first year) :D

Thank you so much for stopping by, I reply, read & appreciate every comment left!
