This title will come as NO surprise to many, I'm sure.
I can never explain enough, or in words that are up to par, how much I love this place.
Known as the capital of the South of Spain, Seville never disappoints. It is always beautiful, always breathtaking and, as a general rule, always hot. There's so much gorgeous architecture to feast your eyes on & around every corner you will see something incredible.
...If you haven't been, then please do yourself a favour and get yourself on the next flight!
Towards the end of our stay in Malaga we drove two hours west to Seville. It was quiet as it was a Sunday and midday temperature [read: sweltering]. We had a wander around the main shopping streets, passing by the Cathedral, Plaza de Toros, Torre del Oro AND the Plaza de Espana - I was being serious when I said everywhere you turn there is something amazing.
We stopped at one of my all time favourite restaurants; Robles Laredo to have some tapas and cake. They do amazing individual desserts there - again, if you pass it, get one! I'd been craving gazpacho - and I know you can make this at home, but its never really quite as good.
With our stomachs full we plodded around, paid a visit to one of the most gorgeous looking five star hotels in the city centre & then made our way back to the car.
It really was quite a flying visit, but one I'm pleased we made.
My love for this city will always remain and it is somewhere I couldn't recommend enough if I tried.
