Fuente Del Sol : Antequera

I don't know really what I can say about this place that the photos don't already...

As part of our trip to Malaga we headed out of the city and up, literally, into the mountains to one of the most gorgeous hotels I've ever stayed in - in my life.

Fuente Del Sol ["Source of the Sun"] in Anterquera.

This time round we just went for the day, but the day I moved to Spain and bought a one way ticket (weird feeling) this is where we stayed until I moved into my flat in Estepa. It is unbelievably remote, peaceful, beautiful & so quiet all you can hear is the water trickling in the fountain.

The day we went during our trip it did quite literally feel like 'the source of the sun' - it is so hot up there. So we headed inside for a nice meal and some down time. The food isn't the be all & end all, but the surroundings and restaurant decor more than make up for it.

On the way back down we were stopped by a huge heard of goats crossing. Not something you see everyday!

If you're in Malaga and have a car handy, I would definitely recommend popping up to this hotel, even if it's just the see the magnificent views. You won't regret it.

And there you have it. Antequera in a nut-shell!

Hope you like the photos! xo
